Areas of practice
I am pleased to offer confidential and compassionate consultation and treatment in the areas of psychotherapy and counseling, either as an individual or as a couple.
I mainly work with people facing depression, anxiety, OCD, trauma, addiction, stress, self-esteem, relationship- and identity issues.
Although I studied cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT) I tend to work holistically, drawing on ideas, methods and resources from various schools of thought. These include schema-focused therapy, brain spotting, ACT and person-centered therapy, among others.
I am a clinical psychologist and am licensed to practice psychotherapy in Germany by the Alternative Medical Practitioners Act (HPG).
Costs for Psychotherapy and Counseling
All sessions cost €80 for 60 minutes. Some private health insurance policies might cover the cost of psychotherapy, but state insurance wont. Please talk to your insurance company or me personally about that.
What makes me the person I am? Here are a few words to try to give you a bit of an impression: Family and friendships. Travelling and discovering new cultures. Laughing heartily but also thinking about the deeper issues of life. The sea. English humour. Keeping fit. Watching football. My Christian faith.
